Abstract:

Using the three-qubit maximal slice state as the quantum channel, two protocols for the controlled remote implementation of single-qubit unitary operations are proposed. Firstly, the controlled teleportation scheme for an arbitrary single-qubit unitary operation by using bidirectional quantum state teleportation (BQST) is given. The result shows that the sender can remotely execute an arbitrary single-qubit unitary operation on the quantum system of the remote receiver via non-maximally entangled channel. If the sender and the controller perform appropriate projective measurements on their respective qubits, the success probability for controlled remote implementation of quantum operation can reach 1. Secondly, a controlled remote control protocol for some partially unknown operations without using BQST method is proposed. This protocol reduces the quantum entanglement and classical communication cost because some unknown operations are from two restriction sets. In these schemes, if and only if the controller is willing to help the receiver operate remotely, the controlled remote execution of quantum operations can be completed.
