Safety Assessment Method of IMA Architecture Supporting Airworthiness Certification

Abstract: It is an important research content for safety assessment of civil aircraft and airworthiness engineering to   assess the safety of IMA (integrated modular avionics) architecture accurately and objectively. This paper presents a new synthetic method of combining safety assessment and quantitative analysis for IMA architecture supporting airworthiness certification. Firstly, this paper proposes an IMA architecture safety assessment model of multi-attributes and an evaluation indicator system based on an implementation framework of safety assessment. Then, this paper uses the theory of MMTD (measure of medium truth degree) to treat and evaluate the scores of the indicators. At last, an  example of evaluation is carried out and shows that this method can be easily operated, the results can be quantified and comparable, and it can effectively ensure the objectivity of the process and the accuracy of the results of the safety assessment of IMA architecture.

摘要: 对综合模块化航空电子系统(integrated modular avionics,IMA)架构安全性进行准确客观的评估是民机安全性评估乃至适航工程的重要研究内容。提出了一种面向适航认证的IMA架构安全性定性与定量相结合的综合评估方法。首先,提出了IMA架构安全性评估框架,在此基础上建立了安全性多维属性评估模型与评估指标体系;然后,利用中介真值程度度量(measure of medium truth degree,MMTD)理论对指标得分进行综合处理与评估;最后,给出架构安全性评估实例,表明该方法可操作性较强,评估结果可量化且有可比性,能有效保障IMA架构安全性评估过程的客观性和评估结果的准确度。
