Abstract

Abstract: A number of cluster management issues， such as the rapid deployment and switching of clusters， have not been satisfactorily resolved. The development of virtualization technology brings a new better solution for these issues. Virtualization decouples software and hardware and makes it possible to build customized virtual cluster. This paper describes the design and implementation of a virtual cluster “VirtualCluster”. The experimental results show that the virtual cluster system has obvious advantages compared to traditional clusters.

摘要： 在集群管理领域，集群的快速部署和快速切换等问题一直未能很好解决。随着虚拟化技术的发展，带来了解决这些问题的新方法。虚拟化方法消除了系统软件与硬件之间的耦合，使得构建定制的虚拟集群成为可能。通过分析，设计并实现了一个虚拟集群系统VirtualCluster。实验表明此虚拟集群系统比传统集群有明显优势。
